DLG Markets Benelux is the organizer of PotatoEurope in the Netherlands, the international seaweed conference Seagriculture and the AlgaEurope conference, which is held in cooperation with the European Algae Biomass Association (EABA).

Events in retrospect

AlgaEurope 2024

AlgaEurope 2024, one of the leading annual conferences dedicated to advances and trends in the algal biomass sector, brought together 424 delegates from 43 countries and 256 organizations. With 20 exhibitors, 110 speakers and 154 poster presentations, it was a great opportunity to connect science and industry. Jointly organized by the European Algae Biomass Association (EABA) and DLG Benelux, the event took place from 10-13 December 2024 in Athens, Greece. Over four days, the conference served as a global platform for science, technology and business collaboration in the algae industry and has strengthened its role as a key event in the algae sector. 

Seagriculture EU 2024

Seagriculture EU 2024, the leading conference for the seaweed industry, was held in Tórshavn on the Faroe Islands from June 18 to 20, 2024. Under the unifying theme “Bridging Continents”, Seagriculture EU 2024 transcended geographical boundaries and brought together 224 delegates from 25 countries around the globe. Representatives from more than 123 companies and institutions actively participated in discussions, networking and knowledge sharing, underlining the global interest in seaweed farming and its diverse applications. 

Seagriculture USA 2024

The Seagriculture USA 2024 conference, the premier event for the algae industry, was successfully held in Ketchikan, Alaska on September 11-12, 2024. Under the theme “Exploring New Frontiers”, Seagriculture USA 2024 brought together nearly 200 stakeholders from ten countries to share knowledge and ideas and to chart a sustainable and economically viable course for the future of the algae industry. Representatives from more than 121 companies and institutions actively participated in discussions, networking and knowledge sharing.
